This view of Narin strand is taken from the island which is just off it.
 During spring tides the tide is low enough that you can walk across the sand
to the island without getting your feet wet!!  The tide only stays out this far for
about an hour, so if you visit be careful! The
sea here is more dangerous than it appears.
 The island is privately owned by a farmer who still grazes his cattle on it.
 There is an ancient church's ruins, the remains of a farmhouse and a very interesting graveyard.
