Killiney is a village 2 1/2 miles south of Dalkey in South Dublin. This view has long been compared to the Bay of Naples in Italy. There is a pebbly beach here, Killiney Strand, you can see it in the photograph, and a good golf course. You can walk up to the top of Killiney hill to the monument there and take in the glorious views. This view is not from the top, this is only from the road, looking South towards the Sugar Loaf and the Little Sugar Loaf in County Wicklow. |
