Fungie the Dingle dolphin
was first spotted in
1984. Local fishermen named him Fungie .
Now hundreds of tourists every year take
trips out in boats to see him or dive with
him. He is very intelligent, as all dolphins are,
and understands to be gentle when swimming
with disabled people. Other times
he will perform all manner of tricks.
